Who’s Behind the Toolkit

When I first opened the WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility guidelines, I froze. It felt like staring at a wall of jargon and legal language that wasn’t made for people like me.

I’m Tania Gerard, a neurodivergent founder with ADHD and autism, and the creator of this WCAG Toolkit for Neurodivergent Founders. I know how intimidating accessibility can seem when it’s written for developers instead of the marketers, founders, and creatives who are trying to make a real impact.

This toolkit exists to make accessible marketing practical and doable. It breaks WCAG down into simple explanations and clear actions you can apply directly to your website and campaigns.

Because when your marketing is accessible, you’re not just meeting a standard, you’re opening your brand to 100% of your audience, not just the 60% who can navigate it today.
