Help for Heroes Hires Tania Gerard Digital

I’m delighted to share that Help for Heroes has joined the growing list of organisations working with Tania Gerard Digital UK to embed accessibility into their communications.

Help for Heroes is a national charity that provides life-changing support to veterans and their families. By partnering with them, I’ll be delivering tailored training on accessible marketing, ensuring their future campaigns, content, and digital communications are inclusive, barrier-free, and designed to reach everyone.

Why This Matters

Accessible marketing is about more than compliance. It’s about creating digital content that works for all audiences, including people with disabilities and neurodivergent individuals. By integrating accessibility into their campaigns, Help for Heroes will:

  • Strengthen their connection with supporters, beneficiaries, and communities

  • Ensure their marketing reaches as wide an audience as possible

  • Build long-term loyalty and trust through inclusive design and communication

The Training Ahead

As part of this collaboration, I’ll be equipping the Help for Heroes marketing and digital teams with practical strategies they can apply immediately, including:

  • Understanding WCAG 2.2 standards and how they apply to campaigns

  • Spotting and fixing common accessibility barriers in digital content

  • Embedding accessibility into campaign planning from the start

  • Using accessible design principles to future-proof their work

Looking Forward

I’m incredibly proud to be working with such a respected charity. By embracing accessible marketing, Help for Heroes is setting an example for how organisations can combine powerful storytelling with inclusive digital practices.

At Tania Gerard Digital UK, my mission has always been to help businesses and charities go beyond “good intentions” and create strategies that are both inclusive and effective. This partnership is a perfect step towards that mission.
