Tania Gerard Joins the UK Parliament ADHD Champions Committee
I’m proud to share some exciting news: I’ve been invited to join the UK Parliament ADHD Champions Committee.
This committee brings together leaders, advocates, and changemakers who are passionate about raising awareness of ADHD, influencing policy, and ensuring that the voices of ADHDers are heard at the very highest levels of decision-making.
What the ADHD Champions Committee Does
The ADHD Champions Committee works closely with Parliament to:
Raise awareness of ADHD across government and the public
Share lived experience to inform policy discussions
Advocate for better support and services for people with ADHD
Provide insight into the challenges and opportunities facing the ADHD community
Create a stronger, more informed conversation around neurodiversity at a national level
By being part of this group, I’ll have the opportunity to bring both my personal lived experience and my professional expertise in neurodiversity and accessible marketing to the table.
Why This Matters
ADHD is still widely misunderstood, and too many people face barriers to education, employment, and everyday life because of it. By joining this committee, I hope to:
Champion practical, positive change
Encourage better awareness across workplaces, schools, and communities
Highlight how ADHD can be a strength when people are supported and understood
For me, this is about amplifying the voices of ADHDers and making sure that policy reflects the real-world experiences of the community.
What’s Next
Being part of the UK Parliament ADHD Champions Committee is both an honour and a responsibility. I’ll be working alongside other champions to share insight, challenge misconceptions, and help shape a future where people with ADHD can thrive.
I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity, and I can’t wait to contribute to the important work ahead.
