Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday Winner: How an ADHD Founder Won #SBS
We’re an #SBS winner!
Tania Gerard Digital has been named a winner of Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday, better known as #SBS.
Every week, small business owners across the UK post to Theo about what they do. He picks just six to share with his followers. This week, TGD was one of them.
I’m honestly still grinning. When I started TGD in 2024, I wanted to prove that accessible marketing and neuroinclusion aren’t niche extras. They’re good business. Being recognised by one of the UK’s best-known champions of small business feels like a big step in that mission.
What is #SBS?
Theo Paphitis — retail entrepreneur, former Dragons’ Den investor and Chairman of Ryman Stationery, Robert Dyas and Boux Avenue — launched Small Business Sunday in October 2010.
Here’s how it works:
Every Sunday between 5pm and 7.30pm, small businesses post to Theo on X, LinkedIn or Instagram using #SBS.
Every Monday at 8pm, Theo re-shares six winners with his combined following of around 800,000 people.
Winners join a community of more than 4,000 #SBS businesses, get a profile on the #SBS website, and are invited to the annual #SBS networking event.
It’s one of the UK’s longest-running support initiatives for small businesses. I’m proud that TGD is now part of it.
In their words for Press
Tania Gerard, Founder and Managing Director of Tania Gerard Digital, said: “I founded TGD in 2024 to prove that accessible marketing and neuroinclusion are essential to a profitable business as well as being ethical. Having Theo recognise our hard work and share what we do with his followers means the world, and I can’t wait to meet him and the #SBS community in February.”
Small business champion and Ryman Stationery, Robert Dyas and Boux Avenue Chairman, Theo Paphitis, said: “We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK. My vision is that everyone who has ever won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club; like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings. The website will also give a valuable profile to the winners chosen. I wish both Tania & Tania Gerard Digital every success and look forward to meeting her in February.”
Why this win means so much
I’m a neurodivergent founder. Like so many ADHD women, I spent years in corporate roles that weren’t built for the way my brain works. So I built something better.
TGD is the UK’s first consultancy to combine neurodiversity training with accessible marketing strategy. We help companies reach every customer and support every colleague, including the ones who are too often left out.
Wins like this matter beyond me. Every time a neurodivergent-led business is recognised, it shows other founders that thinking differently is a strength, not a barrier.
It also caps off an incredible year. Earlier in 2026, I won Female Entrepreneur of the Year at the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce Enterprising Women Awards and became a Canva SMB Canvassador. Now #SBS too. Thank you to everyone who has backed TGD along the way.
What’s next: meeting Theo in February 2027
In February 2027, I’ll be heading to the #SBS winners’ event. I’ll get to meet Theo in person, receive my winner’s certificate and have my photo taken with him.
Best of all, I’ll get the chance to tell him the TGD story face to face and to connect with fellow #SBS business owners. Expect plenty of photos (and probably a very excited LinkedIn post) when the day comes.
